Is There Pain During Or After The Procedure? Are There Side Effects Or Down Time?

CoolSculpting has no down time! It is safe and completely non-invasive which allows immediate return to work, exercise and other normal activities. Although there may be some minor discomfort during the first 10 minutes as the fat is drawn into the applicator and cooled, no pain medication or anesthetic is needed. The procedure is comfortable enough to read, work on a laptop, listen to music with headphones or take a nap during the procedure. Afterwards patients experience redness which usually lasts minutes to hours. Some patients may experience bruising and/or tenderness, cramping and/or itching for 1 to 2 weeks and a temporary dulling of sensation for 1 or more weeks.

What Happens If I Gain Weight In The Future?

Many people, after seeing the results from their CoolSculpting procedure, take even better care of themselves. However, if you do gain weight, you may gain it more evenly all over your body, not just in the treated areas.

When Will I See Results?

You may start to see changes as quickly as three weeks after your CoolSculpting treatment, and will experience the most dramatic results after two months. But your body will still flush out fat cells and continues doing so for up to four to six months after treatment. Individual results may vary.

How Much Does CoolSculpting Cost?

The price for CoolSculpting procedures varies depending on your areas of concern, the number of sessions needed and your ultimate goals. A customized treatment plan will be created with our CoolSculpting Specialist that’s tailored to your body, your goals, and your budget.

Is the CoolSculpting Procedure Safe?

The CoolSculpting procedure is FDA-cleared for non-surgical fat reduction on the flank (love handles), abdomen, bra line, inner thigh, outer thigh, and now the double chin. With over one million CoolSculpting procedures performed, it is proven to be a safe and effective treatment for non-surgical fat reduction.

Am I a Candidate for CoolSculpting?

Both men and women can benefit from CoolSculpting. Ideal candidates for CoolSculpting have some modest-size fat bulges that are not easily reduced through diet and exercise, such as: double chins, abdominal fat, love handles, back fat and fat bulges from menopause. We recommend a CoolSculpting consultation with our CoolSculpting Specialist to determine if you are a good candidate for this procedure and to review the procedure with you.
